Permissions
Installing the operator requires cluster-admin (it creates cluster-scoped CRDs and RBAC). At runtime the operator uses a ServiceAccount with read access to workloads, nodes, namespaces, services, storage, and PodDisruptionBudgets, plus permission to manage its own CRDs (ClusterMirror, UpgradeAnalysis, RemediationPlan).
Optional, per feature
| Feature | Needs |
|---|---|
| AI scoring / remediation | An Anthropic or OpenAI API key, stored in a Secret in the operator's namespace. |
| Remote reports (S3) | An S3 bucket + IRSA, or static AWS credentials. |
| Remote reports (Azure Blob) | A storage account/container + Workload Identity, or static credentials. |
| On-prem reports (PVC) | A PersistentVolumeClaim (enabled via the Helm chart). |
| Web UI | Headlamp in the cluster or desktop, with the Mirops plugin 0.3.1 for the Cluster Mirror page. |
| CI/CD | The Mirops CLI 0.2.0 binary in your pipeline runner. |
